Booking an ADR conference or meeting

This information refers to booking an appointment for a mediation, ‘without prejudice’ conference, case management conference or joint experts meeting to be chaired by the ADR Registrar.

The ADR Registrar’s mediation calendar is now available online. It’s updated regularly throughout the day as bookings are made.

The calendar allows parties to see the ADR Registrar’s availability online and liaise with other parties to arrange a suitable date.

Bookings are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

On the calendar:

  • entries in red are confirmed
  • entries in blue are tentative
  • entries in green indicate the time is not available.

Tentative bookings are held for a period of time determined by the ADR Registrar.

Usually there are two conferences a day starting at 10am and 2pm, with 2.5 hours assigned to each conference.

You may book a conference for longer or shorter periods if necessary, and arrange to vary start times.

During high-demand periods, three conferences may be held per day, starting at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. The ADR Registrar will advise when this is available.

The ADR Registrar will travel to any regional centres or sites as required.

To make a booking for a conference, send a booking request via email using the following recommended format. (Attach the emails from the other parties agreeing to the mediation.)
