Supreme and District Courts civil files

Parties to Supreme and District Courts civil proceedings can access court files online using the eCourts party search facility.

This means you don’t need to visit the court registry in person.

eCourts enables you to locate files using criteria such as party name, file number, court, and location.

A document list for each file is accessible via the search results.

Note: The listing date calendar is not working properly. Instead, type the dates directly into the relevant boxes: dd/mm/yyyy (e.g. 01/06/2025).

Replace spaces with ‘%’ (e.g. g%james% for ‘G James Glass & Aluminium Pty Ltd’).
Use ‘and’ instead of ‘&’ (e.g. smith%and% for ‘Smith & Reid Pty Ltd’).
For organisations starting with ‘The’, omit ‘The’ unless the file predates 2000.
Files with the same number may exist in different registries (e.g. Brisbane and Townsville).
Narrow your search by date or location to avoid exceeding the 500-record limit.
