Statutory Community Justice Groups membership appointments

Community Justice Group (CJGs) established in discrete Aboriginal communities are referred to as ‘statutory’ CJGs.

Statutory CJGs do the same important work as other CJGs but also give advice on alcohol management. Members of statutory CJGs are appointed under section 20(2) of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities (Justice, Land and Other Matters) Act 1984, and their appointments are listed below.
