The Queensland Courts Public Safety Network (PSN) Guest Wi-Fi service provides free and secure internet for approved court users.
It’s available to legal practitioners, media, and self-represented litigants who require internet at court.
The service is not open to the general public. Access requires prior approval and a username and password.
It’s limited to web browsing (http and https) and does not allow secure tunnelling (eg encrypted communication) or corporate network access.
Where Wi-Fi is available
PSN Guest Wi-Fi is available in most Queensland courthouses and tribunal locations.
To check if it’s available at a specific location, contact the court registry.
If you plan to use Wi-Fi during court proceedings, visit the courthouse beforehand to test the connection. Wi-Fi access points vary by location and can be affected by different conditions, so testing on-site is the only way to confirm the service will meet your needs on the day.
