Inquest findings

Inquest findings (from 2004) and non-inquest public interest matters (from 2012) are available on the Coroners Court website.

Findings are published when an inquest is held, or when a coroner orders publication in the public interest.

A finding is a document issued by a coroner at the end of an investigation into a death. It may include:

  • the identity of the deceased
  • how they died
  • when they died
  • where they died
