The Childrens Court (Magistrates) handles cases involving young people under 18 years old.
These cases are private, and only individuals who are involved or permitted by law can attend. This may include victims, media (with permission), or representatives from Youth Justice or Child Safety.
It is illegal to publish information that identifies a young person involved in the case.
