Admission forms

A range of forms are available to assist applicants throughout the admission process as a legal practitioner. These forms cover essential steps such as lodging applications, submitting required statements, and meeting eligibility requirements.


The Legal Practitioners Admissions Board Admission Kits contain instructions and guidance for applicants completing the Admission forms.

Nominate a mover for your admission

  • Form - Admission - Mover nomination (online form)

      Use this form to nominate a legal professional to move your admission to the legal profession in Queensland.

      Your nominated mover must be a legal practitioner. They must hold a current practising certificate unless they are a government lawyer.

      Before submitting this form you must:

    • file your application for admission and affidavit of compliance with the Brisbane Supreme Court registry
    • provide them to the Legal Practitioners Admission Board.
    • You must submit your application to nominate a mover at least 19 days before your admission sitting.

      If you need to change your nominated mover, you must resubmit the form immediately with the updated information.

      Important note: The Registry is unable to assist applicants with obtaining a legal practitioner to move their admission.
