The Acting Chief Magistrate has issued Practice Direction 6 of 2026 in relation to the closure and temporary relocation of the Bowen Magistrates Court and registry for the period 26 June 2026 to 30 June 2027 inclusive, with the possibility of extension.
The Acting Chief Magistrate has also requested that the Bowen Court Calendar be updated from 26 June 2026 to reflect the new address of the temporary Courthouse - 50 Livingstone Street, Bowen.
