The Chief Judge and Acting Chief Magistrate, respectively, have issued District Court Practice Direction 1 of 2026 and Magistrates Court Practice Direction 6 of 2026 in relation to the closure and temporary relocation of the Bowen registry for the period 26 June 2026 to 30 June 2027 inclusive, with the possibility of extension.
