CEREMONIAL SITTING
Legal practitioners and members of the public are advised that a ceremonial sitting will be held in the Banco Court Brisbane at 9.15am today to say farewell to Justice Thomas Bradley, in honour of his retirement as a Judge of Appeal.
At this ceremonial sitting, Judge Nicholas Andreatidis KC and Ms Darlene Skennar KC will also be sworn in as judges of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Court 5 on level 1 will be available in Mackay from which the Ceremony can be viewed. The ceremony can be viewed on the following YouTube link https://youtube.com/live/ft23jQRDHW8?feature=share
The next District Court Sittings commences on 12 October 2026. The next District Court Callover is on 19 October 2026.
JURY INFORMATION
Jurors on Panel 'K' numbered 1-65 are required to attend the Mackay Courthouse Monday, 12 October 2026 at 9:30am. You may wish to bring a jacket as the court room can get quite cool.
