Support for victims of crime
Below you’ll find sources of information and support if you or a family member is a victim of crime.
Victim and witness support
If you are a victim of a crime, a witness to a crime or someone supporting a victim, you can get help from Protect All Children Today (PACT).
This support is provided by a dedicated group of professionally supported volunteers. They are trained to assist you before, during and after the court proceedings.
For more information, contact PACT.
Victim Coordination Program
Victim Assist Queensland runs the Local Victim Coordination Program. Officers located in Ipswich, Rockhampton and Cairns provide support to people who have been hurt by an act of violence.
They support victims as they go through the criminal justice system and help them to apply for financial assistance. Read more about the Victim Coordination Program.
