Search Decisions

Use the following search techniques to refine your search:

Phrase searches

To search for decisions that contain a phrase, put the phrase in quotation marks. This will retrieve decisions that contain the exact phrase, with the words in the specified order.

Example: “mining lease" will only retrieve decisions that contain the exact phrase.

AND searches

To search for decisions that contain two terms, use AND. This will retrieve decisions that contain both terms.

Example: mining AND lease

OR searches

To search for decisions that contain either of two terms, use OR. This will retrieve decisions that contain either of the two terms.

Example: mining OR lease

Tip

To search for the decisions of a certain member in a certain year use AND, and remember to use quotation marks for a phrase (such as the member’s name).

Example: "CAC Macdonald" AND 2015 will retrieve decisions of President MacDonald in 2015.
