Warrant of redirection of debt

Supreme and District Courts - Civil

An enforcement creditor can apply for a warrant when a third party holds money that is owed to the creditor.

These sorts of payments are one-off payments including:

  • commission owed
  • the proceeds of a sale
  • money owed on a contract.

This warrant may also be used to recover money held in a financial institution e.g. savings account.
