Outsourcing of Recording and Transcription Services

On Friday 22 February 2013 the Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie announced the appointment of Auscript to provide recording and transcription services to Queensland's Courts, the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.

Implementation will be staged during 2013 commencing April 2013.

From the 23 April 2013 Auscript Australasia Pty Ltd will commence providing recording and transcription services to the Queensland Courts, the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. 

The commencement date for the provision of these services will vary by court location.  The Implementation schedule details the transition date for each location.

The purchase of transcripts and audio for court proceedings at each of these locations will be made from Auscript from these dates.

Transcripts and audio that relate to court proceedings prior to these dates will continue to be purchased through the Queensland Courts.
