District Court civil callover
A callover for the period of 3 November 2008 to 5 December 2008 inclusive will be held before the Chief Judge at 10:00am on Wednesday 17 September 2008 in Court 17 Floor 3. Parties or their legal representatives should attend.
Changes to Aus Doc (DX) services
Effective from 10 June 2008, the State Reporting Bureau (SRB) will close all its DX mail boxes. As the Supreme and District Courts in Rockhampton and Townsville have previously shared the DX subscription with SRB, their mail service will also cease after 10 June 2008. For details of alternative postal addresses, please see the list provided.
Unclaimed monies
Monies held in court which are inactive after six years are being transferred to consolidated revenue before the end of June 2008 (see Court Funds Regulations 1999). For Supreme and District Courts see the Notice and list of account or contact the registry funds officer on (07) 3247 4309. For Magistrates Courts see notice and list of accounts or contact the civil registry on (07) 3247 5778.
