(b) to what extent were the risks of technical recreational deep diving explained to the deceased and to what extent is it incumbent on the assessing doctor to do so.- (a) should a reverse dive profile have been created on this occasion?
(b) should reverse dive profiles be more strictly regulated?- whether the weight of the deceased’s equipment was excessive?
- whether the spacing of the dives was appropriate?
- (a) whether the software used to calculate the decompression schedule was suitable?
(b) whether there is a need to regulate the use of the range of software used for the calculation of decompression schedules?- whether it was appropriate to allow the deceased to mix his own decompression gas?
- why the final line went beyond the planned depth of 50m and what steps could have been taken to adjust decompression schedules to take this into account?
- the degree to which the decompression schedule actually used by the deceased was out from that which should have been used taking into account all of the above issues
- the degree to which this difference in decompression schedules can be said to have contributed to the deceased’s decompression sickness.
