Applications for positions in 2010
Applications are invited from people interested in securing a position as an associate to a Supreme Court or District Court judge in 2010.
You are invited to submit your curriculum vitae and supporting documentation using the online form and emailing it as instructed. It is important to complete all fields. Receipt will be acknowledged.
Applications for the position of associate for 2010 close on Friday, 27 February 2008. Late applications may, but will not necessarily, be considered.

All applications submitted by the due date will be made available to the judges on Monday, 9 March 2009.
Applications of no more than seven pages in length should include:
- a concise statement describing why you consider yourself suitable for the position
- curriculum vitae (including your current academic record, academic and other achievements, employment history, extra curricula activities and the names of two referees).
In addition you may apply individually to any judge who you wish to consider your application.
The appointment of an associate is made by Governor-in-Council on the recommendation of the judge for whom the associate will be working.
Applicants may be contacted to arrange an interview.
Applicants who gain an interview will be advised of the outcome and the successful applicant's application will be removed from the database. All other applications will remain live until the end of the period applied for when they will be removed from the database.
Should an applicant wish to withdraw an application, it should be done using associates.applications@courts.qld.gov.au advising of that fact and requesting deletion from the database.

Applications for a position as an associate to a Supreme or District Court judge will be sought from December 2008.
