Court of Appeal - civil and criminal
The Court of Appeal and the Court of Appeal registry are located in the Law Courts Complex, 304 George Street, Brisbane, on the corner of George and Adelaide Streets. You should enter the Complex via the George Street courtyard.

To get to the courtrooms or the Court of Appeal registry, enter through the electronic doors, located at the back of the courtyard on the left hand side of the Complex.

The Court of Appeal registry is located on the ground floor of the Law Courts Complex, near the cafeteria.

The Court of Appeal generally hears its cases in either the Banco Court or the Appeal Court. If you are unsure about where to go for your hearing upon arriving at the Complex, the staff at the information kiosk on the ground floor, the Court of Appeal registry or the security desk on level five will be able to assist you.

The Banco Court is found on level two, turn left as you get out of the lift and continue to the end of the corridor. The Banco Court is located on the right hand side of the corridor and you can enter through the public entrance doors.

The Appeal Court is found on level five, turn right as you get out of the lift and proceed down the corridor. You will come to a waiting area with seating and the court is on the right hand side.
